What am I missing here?
A guy comes up behind the mayor after a speech, pulls a cream pie from a bag, and shoves it in Kevin's face. OK, maybe not the best move.

But Kevin then tackles him, punches him fist to face several times, the guy has 9 stitches.....and he's in jail for his 'violent, scary assault'

Yet KJ is hailed as 'properly defending himself'

I'm missing something. Jail time for the guy I can see, but to refer to it as a 'violent assault' and getting punched bloody was 'in defense'?
