Pacman Jones playing for the Blue Bombers? lmao!
http://www.cbc.ca/sports/football/st...rs-pacman.html :rotfl: |
Pacman Jones doesn't deserve to be playing anywhere except for one of the teams in a real life adaptation of The Longest Yard.
 |
First off, frickin' Lions almost killed me on Sunday! I can't believe they went into OT vs. the Ti-Cats!!! Two posession lead with less than 4 minutes left! Come on guys!
Secondly, how ridiculous is it that BC, the leftest team in Canada, is playing in the Eastern Division? Next game for them is vs. the Alouettes...let's get some banter going on that! I don't think the Leo's will beat the Al's, though I hope I am wrong. |

Go Riders!! |
...I hope yer right...Saskatchewan winning...
...but, I believe this Montreal team is the most dominant team in all the cfl...some have said,"...best team ever!!!". Twelve (?) players sent to the all-star game!!... 23 players remaining from the 2007 Grey Cup championship team!!! Riders D has much improved, and home field (kinda) should make a difference...but they cannot score to keep up with da frogs! |
yeah, but the Als always blow it in the big game :D
(now I've just jinxed that!) |

to follow up...
Als legend Sam Etcheverry dies at 79...August 30, 2009 One of the most remarkable players in team and Canadian Football League history, Etcheverry quarterbacked the Alouettes from 1952 to 1960, setting virtually every team passing record. He totalled 30,303 yards and 186 touchdowns on 1,969 completions. He led the Als to Grey Cup appearances in 1954, ’55 and ’56. In 1954, Etcheverry won the Schenley Award as the CFL’s best player. Two years later, he became the first quarterback in CFL history to reach 4,000 passing yards in a season. He threw for 508 yards in the 1955 Grey Cup, setting a record that still stands. A six-time CFL all-star, Etcheverry came back to the Als in 1970 as head coach, leading the team to a Grey Cup win over the Calgary Stampeders. http://www.montrealgazette.com/healt...797/story.html I thought it very impressive that Mr. Etcheverry holds the interception(s) records as well!!! |
ok, ok. they've blown it the last 10 times I think it is that they've played. well, 9 out of 10.
you're right, they probably will win...but i'm still pulling for the Roughriders! :broccoli: |
