Florence
Now a Cat4....has veered off it's path from yesterday and is now predicted to directly hit the coast 9-10 miles from my home. Odds are high that we will lose electricity and all services and serious flooding will occur. We are not leaving.....I am prepared.
The letter "m" on the coast is where I live...... For those I'm competing with......:kickme: See ya next round ;) To others in it's path....Godspeed. |

Thanks Dave......was heading a tad north yesterday....bleah.....headed right for us again. 120-140 mph winds.

Stay safe Rich. My sons moved to Wilmington this summer and are riding out the storm as well. Fingers crossed that the flooding doesn't get too bad.
|
Thanks Kevin.......give your boys my tel # in case........

Direct hit here. No way in or out of town. No water or power. Roads taken out on 3 main roads. Dam on our big lake is gone......millions of gallons let loose. We’re hangin’ tough. Got enough gas left for generator for 5-6 days. Not good......not optimistic. 1st time I had internet since thurs night. Won’t be avail for long. I’ll post pics at a later date

Hoping for the best for you and all in these circumstances. :nervous:

Saying prayers for you Rich. The boys are still without power, but have water. Colin's PT practice has power and he is actually working with 7 clients today. They had a lot of wind damage at the house but no flooding. Whew
|
We now have water, but no power til Sunday or Monday
