This ---- just can't happen. HOW does it still happen today?

The 4 officers were fired right away.....but why not arrested?
Honestly, I don't know enough about the other 3 officers' involvement to know WHAT charge they should face, but the 'kneeling' officer I do....tho chances are, it will be lesser charges in the end.

Now, on to the protests. I get it, I understand protesting, and not all did anything BEYOND that.............but you just can't justify looting, property damage....or actions resulting in more death.

Just when you think 'we're better than this' we, as a society, prove otherwise.

I agree with most ....except for the last sentence. Blame power hungry cops especially the the one that killed this man. He has a history of police brutality. Because they are cops....it usually requires a preliminary investigation to arrest. I cannot think of action taken by Mr Floyd that would warrant the cops actions. I also think the other 3 cops should receive whatever actions are taken against the killer due to their lack of action.....stopping him. I KNOW for a fact, had I been one of them, I would not have hesitated for a second to pull him off Mr Floyd.

Side note....it's always amazing to me how the press rants about opening UP businesses, but crickets when people loot and burn down businesses.

The cop charged with 3rd degree murder....he should have been charged with 1st degree.

The other 3....accessories to murder.

Trump....bring in the military and shut this crap down now.

A pandemic, suffering economy, record unemployment...and Dem govs are doing nothing.

This is about to get even uglier and there will be hundreds dead in the streets if it's not gotten under control immediately. Citizens will not tolerate much more of this and will start taking the law into their own hands.

if protests were done and the crowds disburse well before dark, the rioting would be drastically reduced or eliminated....because those doing it would be far more exposed, unable to be viewed as part of the protest

to be fair, regardless of party affiliation, NONE of 'em are doing enough
