someone sent this to me on Facebook...it's from last year, but a good 5 minute watch |
meh...he sure is well spoken with keen points..... but i'm quite confident whoever he is asking/ telling will just say no. :p
now.... if any one needs a bit chslapping, its the idiot who made a hate crime out of a door closer. |

The conspiracy theorist in me says it was a way for NASCAR to insert themselves into the current issues even more and give more credence to getting rid of the confederate flag |
I've been screaming term limits for years. Not going to happen.
Bubba Wallace lost a ton of credibility with NASCAR fans over this debacle. AFTER the FBI and NASCAR made the announcement regarding the results of their investigation...."No hate crime...NO noose" that knucklehead (Bubba) went on CNN with, of all morons, Don (mabe that plane disappeared into a black hole) Lemon and pushed the same BS narrative that the left wants. That caught up with him and he had to backpedaal on his statements. |
Being a politician was never supposed to be a career, but no, it would take a massive movement for term limits since the very people it would effect are the people who would vote on it. I love how the argument against it is that it takes awhile to get 'a feel' for Washington and how constituents 'benefit' from someone with experience.........there'd be less to get 'a feel' FOR and much of that 'experience' is part of why we NEED limits, because all that happens without them is the same stale voices repeat over and over again acting less and less on the behalf of the people that continue to vote them in.....and they actually think that because they keep voting them in, they're doing well at their jobs instead of understanding that too often they get in on name recognition because fewer and fewer people actually understand how BAD they are and because so often their competition is either as bad or worse...or will be after some 'experience'. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Sure is easy for white people to jump on black people when they find out they spoke about something that wasn't what it seemed to be. Damn, all the Nascar drivers marched in unison. I am 100% sure they are not leftists.
The white people may not be intentionally racist, but by no means can a mis-interpretation of an incident compare to how black people have forever been treated. Orren, is this a sports site or a political forum filled with hateful comments? |

From my end, in this time frame, I don't particularly care WHAT all that was....if it forwards our progress as a society. If I seemed to infer otherwise, it wasn't my intent. I will say this, if the FBI saw the same pictures NASCAR put out there (tho still not sure why they didn't surface until after the FBI was done), I'm not sure what to think of them saying it looked like other door pulls, because it did not. However, if they're saying it had been there for months, I'm satisfied with that part of it....but the timing of finding it, and that being Bubba's garage..in this time frame...is certainly curious. But again, just speaking for myself, regardless of the details of the how, it was good overall to see NASCAR band together around Bubba as they did. Changes are certainly in order, and change is indeed on the way. It should have happened long ago, and during a pandemic isn't ideal, but here we are. Now, do I AGREE with all that's going on? The statues being pulled down (some, fine...but time to reel it in before we find ourselves reading that monuments we would NOT agree should come down are irreparably damaged. Time for CHOP to dissolve. ...and time for Dems and Reps to understand that this is not the time to bicker about whose reform bill is better and do what they were elected to do- work together to the benefit of all the people who put them in the position to set all the needed changes in motion...maybe if they did, they'd understand that's how it should be on ALL issues before them. |

I come here to get away from that s**t. Tried to avoid these topics but all threads go south from the title really fast. Enough for me. |

With regards to your last sentence.....I'd like to point to the covid thread and your hateful comments on a political subject. Hypocrisy is an ugly trait. |

And my post was not directed at you. It was for Orren and I have no doubt from our messaging that he understands my concerns. Signing out of jockstocks forums. Best to all. |
"You have continued to make racial undertones."
Really? How so? It's really a shame you think that way but, of course, you're entitled to your opinion. Anyone that knows me knows that couldn't be farther from the truth. |
k guys....settle down!!
first of all, I apologise for high-jacking the thread by changing topic. second.... criticizing Donald is 100% acceptable cuz he IS a dumbass!! He's also a lot of other nasty things but he heads the Republican party albeit temporarily....unlike our pre-disposed topic America is proof that a two party system ultimately fails. third....I have not seen any racial innuendos here. Strong opinions with attached anger, but nothing racial! last.... democrats suck!!...but that is just my opinion :p |
