I think that this might blow up in the NFL's face, maybe not.

I will do everything in my power to spread this story on every single social media forums that I can. This is absurd. What’s even more absurd is that AMVETS agreed.....originally......to pay 30K.

yep, I have to agree.
10 million bucks they fork out for half time (not including main performer) and wont pay .03% of that to help repair their image. screw 'em!! I can watch highlights on the news. would love to see lowest ratings ever.... |
Other than PGA, the NFL has always been my fav. I do not watch nearly as many games as I used to but after the SB I will start my withdrawal......
UNLESS things change. As most of you know, I am a Nam Vet and this kind of thing makes me want to go postal. Thanks Demorats. |
A person needs to realize that any part of the super bowl is going try to be without as much controversy as possible. That is just the way is nowadays. The super bowl is the most watched television event by a very large margin and this is part of the reason why it wants to attract as many different types of people watching as possible. So for these reasons I am not surprised what we are discussing was rejected. I am just trying to express some of the reasons why this happened the way that it did and not saying if it is right or wrong.
I have noticed the last several super bowls I can not remember a television ad that really stands out to me even as being creative. I can still remember the Budweiser frog ad but that was quite a few years ago. |
