Razer Mako 2.1

I wouldn't have said anything, but I got a pretty good deal on these from the manufacturer...and I believe they are STILL @ 399.00 on sale for 299.00!!

I have received them...three hunnert and twenty five bucks...FROM BUFFALO to Saskatoon five days truck...still no sign of additonal charges as I am expecting taxes and duty yet!

They are replacing a dynamite 2.1 Klipsch THX 200wRMS, which I thought were pretty good (shake the house)... till I played these Mako babies.
ummmm.....QUALITY!!! The Klipsch are VERY loud...even louder than the 300wRMS Mako, but now that I compare....they blare.

I use em for music and video...but gaming is supposed to be nutz (I don't/won't play).

It comes with a cool (but corded) control pod and the two sattelites and sub are round with flat bottoms...the actual speakers are elevated and point down onto the desk top...sub too! Surround sound effect from a quality 2.1.
The real difference between these systems is I now walk away from the 'puter...and my ears don't hurt!....Almost like (good) headphones!
edit: mouse bounces all over the place now though!

You know, I never used to listen to music, so my speakers never really mattered. Now, I cannot listen to music [on a computer] with crappy speakers.
