Please do not be shocked by what I am about to say which is the balls were NOT deflated to the point of breaking league rules.
So the story goes that ESPN must have needed to talk about something about which is their main business well and showing some actual sporting events. And it is very important for a person to realize that the story ESPN put out there a day after the AFC championship game is false. There is one other important aspect to this Commish Goodell probably knew the ESPN story was false but he still had Mr. Wells do his report anyway. The Wells report was supposed to make the Patriots looked bad but part of it actually shows the Patriots were playing within the league rules.
"Wells' report showed that
none of the footballs, each measured twice, were that underinflated." And where exactly did the Wells report come from it was none other than the league.
"
No gameball was measured below 10.5 and most were in the 11s, which is within an acceptable range of natural deflation."
So if Tom Brady gets the number of games he is suspended for reduced a person will know the real reason why.
A person also knows the reason why Roger Goodell is hearing this case himself and not going to an independent arbiter. Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive and that is actually what Mr. Goodell is doing. Sir Walter Scott would be so proud or not.
So who should actually be suspended for deflategate. I would say ESPN and Roger Goodell for deceiving the public but as we know that is not going to happen. So which is worse what the Patriots did which if this story is to be believed is nothing and played within league rules or what Roger Goodell did which is to deceive the public for some personal reason?
