I'd rate Star Trek about the same...at least a 4....

They did take some license in some places, but they also made a point to work in puzzle pieces so that, when they do the inevitable sequel(s) to this prequel it'll not only be logical extensions of this movie, but fit with the original show.

I thought the casting for the main characters was quite excellent, really. There was a (I felt unneeded) romantic twist I thought unusual, tho.
