Ok, so AP doesn't want to play in Minnesota...wouldn't it be in his best interest to keep his (and his agent's) mouth shut? Once other teams know AP wants out of Minnesota his return value is reduced.
And if that is indeed the case, then I think it is clear that Minnesota had the full intention of playing AP in the upcoming season because if they wanted to trade him they would want max value and they would have made it clear to AP to not portray a disgruntled player in an effort to facilitate his departure.
But then again, just offloading his contract might be all the Vikes are really looking for...anything extra would be gravy...
