Fellow east coasters
good luck to all of you. Things are looking worse for us in SE NC as Irene has decided to crowd our coastline. She's supposed to hit here in the middle of the night tonight.....we shall see.

I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'. Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all. Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?

Rich (and everyone else in the path of Irene), PLEASE stay safe. I know what it's like to have gone through one of these and it's nothing nice.

ooo, I got to clean up after Irene hope y'all are stayin' safe! The weather channel just mentioned Cape Lookout as the first landfall for Irene....that's a bit north of Rich, so maybe he didn't get hit AS hard as he could have

 Power back on (not for over 1/2 million other poor folks here in NC) Much clean-up...not nearly the damage we expected here. Thank you all for your well wishes....I'm still praying for all those north of me....downgraded to a cat1 since landfall.
