Default Kudos to McCain

It can't be easy to offer a concession speech after such a long and exhausting campaign without offering any backhanded jabs at the winner.

Tonight more than any other point in this campaign season, McCain displayed true character in defeat.

I can't say I'm the least bit disappointed to hear his concession speech, but I can say I was more than a little impressed both with the words he selected, and with the way he delivered them.

Agreed, he was unfortunate to be running under the Republican ticket, and inheriting the doubt the President has installed in all of America.

On the other hand, congratulations to Obama. He has the makings of becoming another FDR. If he can somehow unify this country, and strengthen the economy he would go down as one of the better presidents in the history of this country. Best of luck.
