Being a Cardinals fan, I'm glad. He's a proven hitter (although not with the Yankees) who can greatly improve out lineup. I'm concerned though. Where would we put him? I'm guessing we let Rasmus go (that'd be a shame) and put Berkman in the OF (where he hasn't played since 2007)? That scares me a little. Either way I think it's a good signing.
