Leaderboard Anomaly
Current Monthly Leaderboard:
1 ProneEisenrott $2,079,315.12 2 Bo LaTengo $1,983,934.81 3 Dwey1965 $1,826,272.31 But my current Portfolio Value = $1,893,617.36, which is actually correct. So how did I get a "temporary" boost on the Leaderboard? I assume it will be corrected with the next update, but still curious. Thanks, Prone

...and the way the system works, transactions are a 2 step process....for a buy, first the system puts the shares into your portfolio, then it takes the appropriate cash out of your balance. So if the leaderboard just happened to update after the shares were put in, but before the cash is taken out.....you get this anomaly. In other words, at this particular update, you just happened to have the shares, but the cash to purchase them was removed just after the update.

hmm, well...I'm not sure how long it actually takes for the updating to complete and I believe the TV leaderboard is 'first in line' (if that was an hour that updates)....so it's possible your 11:04 buy was in-process when the monthly leaderboard was updating
otherwise, I got nuttin'!
