Bulls did not re-sign P.J. Brown and Michael Sweetney. Last I heard they were FA.

We've done this before.. once a splitter -- stays listed until definitive retirement announcement.

Every season, in every sport, we IPO players who are borderline. Quite often they remain borderline, quite often they move well above the border........sometimes they drop below it and never return.

....and some just become NBA analysts w/o telling us like Jalen Rose

Snow and George were never must have IPOs, but they were worthy. Are they still? Well...the fact that they have roster spots makes them more worthy than a few others, eh?

And, as Relic mentions, we generally view deactivating a stock that has split a bit differently than one that hasn't..........I only wish someone had persuaded me differently there with Kenyon Martin and Darius Miles- neither were expected to ever don a uniform again...and at about this time last year they were put on a deactivation list. Martin may even start tonight and Miles could be back in a month.

I sold my Hardaways, Miles, and Martins -- my bad, long story.

I think they should be reactivated because it was a mistake to ever deactivate them --- causes ugly anti-moo scenarios.

I think that if a guy is not worthy of being listed (Snow - George) they should be gone, roster spot or not, split or not! If they aren't good enough to meet minimum stats for projections, they shouldn't be on here.

Not all stocks are going to make $$$ all the time, not all stocks are gonna lose $$$ EITHER so why not reactivate the splitters, then those who have either make a shload if the exceed projections or lose a shload. if i lose 7% on one of those now deactivated stocks it gives the people behind me a chance to catch up. ultimately is there any extra WORK for the powers that be, if not wonder twins powers REACTIVATE

I also sold my Kenyon Martin shares last season, thinking his injury was career-ending. However, when he returns it will probably be my loss.

I view that as part of the risk/reward of the game--and that is NOT a bad thing.
