I think he is a Brewer now.
Story Here The Brewers did not have to give up a major league player quite yet for Sabathia. It will be interesting to see what the Cubs do now that the Brewers have two of the better starters in the division now. And the Brewers are definitely going for it because they may not have Sabathia or Sheets in their rotation next season because both of them are free agents at the end of this season.

I know they didn't give up their very top prospects, but I can't believe they'd even MAKE the trade without a new deal in place for CC....but, stranger things have happened.
