OK, I have sent a donation, but I read this thread four times and it took me 20 minutes to figure it out. I do not see any red X on the forums page, but I did figure out that a little "page" icon in the bottom of the empty right box at the top is the link to paypal.
I think you might expect more if you made it easier (or less difficult). Happy New Year folks!
