Someone is going to have to try to explain this.
Vladimir Putin is Time's person of the year.
Is Time trying to say that Putin is even worse than the president we have now?  Maybe this choice by Time was in order to make people go  and then they may buy more magazines who knows.Story about Putin Here And here are the person's of the year in the past. Past Winners Here One other thing about this. Al Gore was in the running as well. Is Time trying to say that Global Warming is not as big a problem as previous thought?

Given that Time hasnt apologized for spreading the lies that make up right wing authoratarian extremist propaganda, them picking Putin makes perfect sense.
