Yankees pitching good...Offense fails.

So much discussion of the ills of the staff of NYY. But the arms have been solid, good enough to win with this offense. Yet as of late the bats have short-circuited. 1 run today. Shutout the other day and in losses 1 or 2 runs.

At least it is good enough for 2nd in a division only Boston seems to want a winning record. Rocket on the way to help a depleted staff but the bats need to get a crackin'. Where has ARod gone? I was hoping he would at least threaten Barry's single season mark. Wouldn't that be something? Barry breaks Hank and a so-so response. Then ARod beats Barry and the media circus will explode. Barry will get no love and those who favor truth an fair play will be emphatic. If only fair play was good in the NBA.
