What are people buying?
With the recent crash, a lot (or everything) is on sale. Anything special you had an eye on, but were waiting for an opportunity like this to buy in?
Pulled the trigger on a few Canadian stocks, like HSE, SLF, COS, and a few Euro stocks... VE, and STD. Im also thinking of buying in on TEF, MO, POW, TA and NPR.UN to name a few. There is just so much to pick from now. A lot of value to be had on proven companies that will weather this down turn. After loosing out huge on some venture stocks some years ago, I generally like to go for high yield dividend paying stocks. |

Google may be primed for another strong growth stage, if tech stocks are of interest. If Facebook decides to IPO, however, I'd be taking short term gains and getting out.
...but this is from a guy who's never really played the market.....

VOD is great, but not really trading at its lows anymore. It came back quick. A sign of a good company. Would be nice to catch is south of $26 again. I love the communications companies like this, as they always have a good monthly cash flow come in.
