/makes animated attempt to call time out Guys....here's the deal. There were MANY items put up for bid, MANY items attaining winning bids. Sometimes it took awhile for people to realize they'd put in the winning bid, sometimes it took awhile for people to actually send the money in for it, sometimes I'd get money and not be sure what it was for, sometimes it'd take awhile even after all that to get proper shipping info....there are just a lot of lil things that mean that, while I appreciate these auctions more than you will EVER know, there have been plenty of room for communication issues....even times where people THOUGHT they sent the money only to find the check still on their desk or an email notification that their paypal submission hadn't gone thru and they didn't realize that. And given these last auctions were during one of my most stressful time periods personally as well.....I'm afraid I, Orren Thornes, was likely the weak link in the majority of cases where things didn't happen as they should have. NOone put up an item and intentionally didn't send it to a winning bidder. NOone put up a winning bid and intentionally didn't send the money for it. and NOone needs to be irritated with anyone but ME if they have issues.....stop the bickering in here, regardless of who perceives whom as in the wrong....aight?

The point of this thread, I believe, was to kick off another fund raising "drive" of sorts to help Orren keep the site alive and kicking. Forget the auctions for now (I've only won a couple but have received all items) and donate some $$ to the cause. $5, $10, whatever. Orren has busted his bawls over the last 5+ years to make this site/game a reality. It's time to step up and help out. I know a lot of you have stepped up throughout the last several years - with auctions, cash contributions, and/or with time committed to helping the site, by providing & sharing information (delta reports, etc) or helping out newcomers on a regular basis. Whether or not you've contributed in the past, perhaps it's time to give a little something now.

Wow stumbled back onto this drama. I got the Hershel mag only. Larkin was to go to Nick and I got the Payne mag as a gift to Rich. I have not received anything else. My cousin got the DeMarcus Ware and Gore stuff. That is it. I got 1 thing from Rich and 1 thing only. Several times I have PMed asking if my payment had processed. After a while it just becomes redundant. I hate to gripe...BUT...You're talkin about doin it again?? Why would I until I am dealt with the first time. I would rather make a blind donation than to wait on nada. This thread needs to chill. A lot of you act so tough on here. Claire could prolly whoop half of ya.

Troy..I found my other copy of the SI issue you did not receive (I only put up for bid the ones I had dupes of) and will send it to you in the next couple of days. I wish I knew why you got one and not the other.

Troy, before you make people feel guilty and defensive for things that you're saying you didn't receive (and especially before you make Rich part with something he wasn't intending to part with when it may not even be a big deal to you to get it), PLEASE double check on your end and make sure you really didn't get those things or your cousin doesn't have 'em or whatever. I don't like that people generous enough to donate items AND pay for shipping are being viewed by some as not having followed through when that simply may be incorrect.

I have to agree with Lep on this one. Thanks? For what the one mag? You never said thanks after u recvd my lil gift to u. I KNOW for a fact Randy recvd his winnings. I check the mail. After not getting the mouse pad I wont get screwed like that again. I received 1 mag.

O u really puttin all the Rich/Kev drama on me? I didnt start this thread nor did I egg it on. I simply said before asking to do another auction it would be nice to get my stuff first. Until then I have no use for getting duped. I would rather just make an anonymous donation.
