Ducks started the game with their entire starting defensive front out somehow.......then lost a starting corner
...plus losing Barner and Mariota for part of the 1st half Cal's D is not the reason they're 3-7, but the Ducks seem to be starting to get something going...... They won't jump KState in the BCS with a win....but they haven't won....yet

Being #1 in the human polls, as they'll likely be, will certainly help them gain a bit on KSU
....but then it doesn't really matter..it's whether they're top 2 after the Pac 12 championship game is played that matters

Agreed, We just need to be #2.
Were did all these injuries on the fron line come from? That was crazy, but we did good despite that. You forgot our free safety who went out also, he is the one who looks likes he may be out some time. Edit: I think you covered the free safety when you mentioned the cornerback

ah, you're right....safety, not corner
far as I know those 4 DLinemen are all only temporarily out....the Ducks spent most of the game with 3 freshman getting the bulk of the snaps...in a way, good 'cause it gave them extra playing time
