Default Powerpoint

not sure that anything on my puter has changed but.....

where I was able to open pps files before I am no longer able to. Before the prompt was always open or save...I'd click on open and the pps would open easily. Now when I click on open another window opens promptin to save the document with a converter of some kind. no "open" option.so....I click save and get anopther window pop-up that says converter unable to save document. I've been to MS to search for a fix for this issue and can find nothing.

anyone seen'heard of this issue?
You may not believe in guns and you may not believe in God. ...but if someone breaks into your home I guarantee the 1st two things you'll do is call someone with a gun and pray they get there in time
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'
IMHO we finally have a POTUS that will get us back on the right track. We survived the community organizer but I am not optimistic that he will just go away and enjoy his ill-gotten wealth.
God bless our Troops.

has this issue coincided with getting the new puter with Office 2007 Rich?

not that I have the answer yet, if it does....but it'd at least narrow the search...

see if this link helps...it might just be that extension needs to be 'turned on'- http://en.kioskea.net/faq/sujet-190-opening-a-pps-file
Find us on for updates, including site issues.

The fact that there is a highway to hell but only a stairway to heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic numbers.
When you're dead, you don't know you're dead. It's only difficult for others. It's the same way when you're stupid.
So, when is this "old enough to know better" thing supposed to kick in?
