Starting Pitchers we may need.

Max Scherzer Arizona Kenshin Kawakami Atlanta Then there are two other starting pitchers to mention as well. 1. David Price Tampa Bay I know he wowed some people last post season and even was on the mound when the Rays got to the world series but he is starting now and that is totally different to me. 2. Joba Chamberlain New York Yankees Will the Yankees stick to one role for him this upcoming season. Plus even last season when he started in the bullpen and eventually became a starter he barely pitched over 100 innings last season.

The closer situation for at least some teams is just crazy.
I will separate into three groups who we may need to start the season, and other closer situations to watch, and situations where at least two players are competing to be the closer for the team. Closers we may need to start the season. None! One to watch very closely. Cubs Marmol Dodgers Broxton Arizona Qualls? Heath Bell San Diego Mike Gonzalez Atlanta Joel Hanrahan Washington Sherrill Baltimore? Then there are several situations where more than one player is competing to be the closer of the team. Mott or Perez Saint Louis Ziegler or Devine Oakland Corpos or Street Colorado Lindstrom or Ceda Florida Francisco or Wilson Texas

The list of players we may need to start the season. Took the batter with single digit high for single season home runs from above list off the list. Plus there is a nice round number of ten batters when I did this.

Guy that batted 8th and played center for the Braves tonight.
Going to 162 home runs this season. And will also steal over 50 bases. First player to definitely have a 50/50 season.

I must have been really tired last night.
Jordan Schafer is his name and he plays for the Braves. 2009 30/30 2010 40/40 2011 50/50 2012 60/60 2013 70/70 Need to give him a few seasons before he does 50/50. After his first at bat in the majors it looked like he would hit over 500 home runs this season. After Jordan's first game he will only hit 162 home runs this season. Baseball.       :cool:
