Copyright angels?
OK not a political story but it troubles me none the less. The gist, a coffee shop in Utah is selling a shirt with an image of the angel moroni swilling coffee through his/her (do angels have gender?) trumpet. The LDS are upset as they feel the image is disrespectful and claim that they have a copyright on moroni.
How does one copyright a supernatural being? Is that legal? And if so you all better get ready to send me royalties because i'm going to be submitting copyright papers for God, Jesus, Muhammed, Moses, Satan, Allah, Vishnu, Buddah, and every other religious icon I can think of. Seriously though is it possible to copyright such an icon? Story here
