of course it would only work for geographically(sp) close teams.

I guess it would totally depend on how hard the goalie had to work in the 1st game.....and how much time between games eh?

Not sure they would use the number of saves. A Goalie can have few saves but play the whole game, at the instance, they would most likely use the backup for the second game.

I think the gauge would be how many minutes he played.
