Default Nobody will see it down here right? Version 5.0

I have been doing this for five straight years already?

What is this. I get ready for the new season by looking at possible ipo additions for the upcoming season.

Catchers

None needed right away.

1b

Billy Butler Kansas City

Starters

Youani Gallardo Milwaukee Not right away because he has no M.L. experience but he is one to watch though.
Joba Yankees Will he be starting in the bullpen or not? This is a question to ask for if we need him right away or not.
Ian Snell Pittsburgh No we are already getting into the marginal starters at best imo.
Chad Billingsley Los Angeles See Ian Snell.
Dustin McGowan Toronto Another average starting pitcher at best.

Closers

No one really jumps out now.

2b

Howie Kendrick Los Angeles Anaheim and anyone else that might be offended if they aren't mentioned.

3b

No one jumps out at me that we don't have already.

SS

See 3b.

OF

No one really jumps out that we don't have.

Young guys we don't need yet but we may want to watch.

Evan Longoria Tampa Bay No he is not related to her but he may be the starting 3b.
Jay Bruce Cincinnati May not even start with the big club but may be there eventually before the end of the season.
Colby Rasmus St. Louis He is the next Albert. NOT! But he may start in the outfield sooner rather than latter because the Cardinals are very thin in the outfield unless they trade for someone before the season starts.
Colby reminds me of another player just to look at. Rick Ankiel St. Louis

In summation of my first post we don't really need anyone right at the start of the season; but there are some players that we need to at least take a look at.

Batters with some experience
Howie Kendrick Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
Billy Butler Kansas City

Pitchers with some experience
Ian Snell Pittsburgh
Chad Billingsley Los Angeles
Dustin McGowan Toronto

Batters with little or no experience
Evan Longoria Tampa Bay
Jay Bruce Cincinnati
Colby Rasmus St. Louis
Rick Ankiel St. Louis

Young Pitchers with little or no experience
Yovani Gallardo Milwaukee
Joba Yankees Will he be starting in the bullpen?

This is one of the least stellar groups of players I can remember when it comes to players we might need to start the season.

Reason: Had to spell the first name correctly of the Brewers young pitcher.

I like your list...

one youngster to add....

Joey Votto, Cin 1B 70 25 80 5 .295

..yeah Hateberg re-signed...but numbers will be there!

Joba Chamberlain, NYY RP 5 0 120 2.48 0.73

...will be big estimates...he could see a lot of action...Rivera is not going to carry a full workload very long...before injury!

Somebody likes my list.

The list does sort of suck to start us off though this year at least.

And there are always a few players that come out of nowhere during spring training so there may be a few more to add as well.

The one last year that I am thinking of right now is Hunter Pence.
