What was the name of the name of the Newsletter that Jeremy was doing a while? Any links to those? ... Meant to mention Sten and Jon Tate, too. I remember Sten may not have been in his teens yet when he first started, and he had a local buddy a year of two younger than him that played. One night I was chatting with them, and the younger one was going on about sardine and mustard sandwiches LOL. Estonian snacks...

Forgot that I had a page related to WSS. The link is long dead as it points to my old ISP which I have not had in years. Suzy's page is still up with Rich's mug right at the top so ya might want to wait an hour after eating before looking. |

A few of us used to play in a cbs football pick-em that Mark used to put up his own lines for. Gradually everyone sort of drifted away from it, but Jon Wall, Todd B, Ciara, Jake (marcvs trianvs) and a few others used to be in it. I'll see if i can dig up an old standings list and see if a few names stand out. I think most of them came here for a bit, and when you look at the top 100 a few ports names look familiar.
This was the board from 2003.... 1 Jon Wall 321 2 Eliot Paisley 301 3 Newton Lee 284 4 Kevin Appleby 281 5 Steve Schott 281 6 Sean Coles 280 7 Mark none 274 8 Tommy Ockenhouse 272 9 kelly mintenko 268 10 David Wetzel 262 11 Matthew Porter 258 12 Eric Ballard 243 13 nick drake 231 14 Doug Solomon 228 15 Paul Meek 220 16 Jon McLeod 216 17 Ryan Milley 186 18 Matt Meyer 176 19 Jesse Baker 166 20 Todd Bergmann 149 21 Paul Owen 117 22 Scott LaFlesh 84 23 matt mannnig 64 24 robbin gordon 23

That was fun for the few years we did that.
And for full disclosure not all names on that list were ex-WSSers but from other games that I was playing at the time (and in a couple cases still do) like the sims hoops game and hattrick.
