Looks like the donate like on the forum page works!!!!

So, if you love this site, missed it when it went down, or just stop in every now and then...

Please help Orren and Nick keep this going.

Donations of course are always appreciated. After all, while we don't charge to play, many of you have played here for as many as (holy crap!) 16 (sixteen) years!
Put that in perspective- what was your life like, what were you doing when you first started playing here? Some of you were teenagers and now have not just your own kids, but kids not that far from teenagers themselves!

Some have donated, some multiple times, some not at all. That's fine.
But as time goes by WE have costs that are ongoing...they aren't much in actual cost (ignoring our time), but they aren't 0 either....and, if we make the server change we SHOULD make they'll be increasing soon.

So, if you've donated before, thank you again. If you're willing to donate now- whether that's again or for the first time, we thank you in advance. If you can't or don't feel you need to, that's fine, too.

But as I alluded to in a Facebook post, both Nick and I view this year as the year we make something happen...we have no intention of it NOT happening, but we've literally been saying that for well over a decade now...that has to stop. To help us believe you guys truly want this to continue, it would be nice to get enough donations to at least cover most of our server costs...$100/mo total would do that. That's 20 people sending $5/mo on average.

Now, while we redid the PayPal link, I do have a remaining question. I've assumed that link can be used with or without YOU needing a PayPal account- that a credit or debit card is all that's required. If I'm wrong, we need to find another way to do this.

PayPal is locked at $2, don't know about credit/debit.
If you can't make it variable I would think you could change it to at least $5 without scaring anyone away.

That shouldn't be true with the link now in my signature and at the top of the forum page.....those I can edit...but yes, the donate button elsewhere on the site I've not yet had Nick swap out.

The donate link in green J$ works and can be used with credit or debit card info. You will have to create a paypal account to use it.

well crap....I was hoping that was not the case (creating a PayPal account) ....hmmm

I'm wondering if that's the case because this is using a paypal.me link....will have to look into that further.

The Donate buttons are currently locked at $2

The Send JS $$ button in my signature and in the forum news at the top of the forum page is not........but rrock is saying that requires a paypal account, so Houston, we have a problem

Been here a long time but I can't support a site where I can't say what's on my mind with out being reprimanded by the favorites here When I can express my opinons without being blocked let me know and I will gladly chip in

I have no favorites.
Opinions are welcome. They're not always well-received, I'm aware, but they're not blocked...certainly not by me.
