A person may want to go somewhere besides a liquor store to buy beer in Tennessee.

Everyone in the state of Tennessee must have their i.d. checked to buy beer no matter how old they are.

Why did this law stop at beer should it not have been for all liquor? Liquor is one of those vice things like gambling and junk food for children that should be taxed heavily right?

So I guess I answered my own question right?

Thank goodness this law does not start until Sunday. This law would make the lines even longer because lots of beer is going to consumed in Tennessee in the next few days right?

So in order to prevent people that are not supposed to buy beer from buying beer we should inconvenience everyone else that is of legal age to buy beer?

That make perfect sense to me.

I wonder what the law in Tennessee says if someone who is old enough to buy beer buys some beer for someone who is not old enough to buy beer?

I also want to mention this law may only be for a year because the Tennessee legislature must approve of this law again after one year.
