Miss USA
I mean one of the best reasons ever to telecast in HDTV.... Swim Suit competition. I am watching with my 9 yr old and am almost embarrassed.
Virginia and Michigan?? Yuck North Carolina, Kansas, Hawaii, and Utah are Yumm Yumm. MmmMmmm Tennessee. I am taping this so Ill watch again later.

Haven't seen a lick of it myself, but I can't imagine Miss Virginia looks all that bad
 . Fixin' to go HD myself here any day now... got my eye on a Sharp flat panel 46" TV. Read lots of good things about Sharp aquos TVs... banding is an issue, but you can exchange until you get one w/out any problem. The wife has got me under the gun, any suggestions/advise are welcome. I'm set on flat - plasma or LCD, rear projection is OOTQ.

I got a Panasonic 42" Plasma in the room. Well Michigan has a huge nose and Virginia has weird cartoonish features. IMO there was much better in the field overlooked. Cuz Texas and Cali have to get their state in EVERY year. I have seen 10 better looking girls on USC and UCLA cheer line than their rep this year. SHe just isnt all that. I came back to the UNC game and they swung 10 points to have a 5 pt lead. WTF did I miss???

I have a 48 wide, rear projection HDTV. And I love it....
Next TV that comes in this house is going to be a 61" DLP HDTV. I was rather impressed with it when I was sitting watchign some sports on it.

I have a Samsung 50" DLP. I bought it last yr and its still running perfect. At the time this was rated the #1 by consumer reports and DLP is as close to plasma as you can get. W/o all that pesky image burning.
