Shohei Ohtani
I'd thought of this for guys like MadBum before, but with Ohtani it's looking like a more logical potential........how to deal with pitchers who also hit..decently.....
I'm not quite ready for either just yet, but I could potentially IPO him.......twice- once as a pitcher, once as a hitter. It'd then be on the buyer to be sure they're buying the one they intend to. However, I could further separate by ending the symbol with P or H- ohshP and ohshH (not sure if the caps would work) Thoughts?

Adding the H or P would help quite a bit.
But you don't have to release both at the same time. Even though he is off to a good start hitting he was terrible in spring training. He has the stuff to be a number one on any non Kershaw pitching staff. But I think you should consider releasing him at each position the same as you do for other rookies. |

I'm not saying hitting is overly strenuous, but what's his schedule? Does he take a few days off from DH after he pitches? I would assume he doesn't use his arm at all the day after his start.

Suppose to pitch every Sunday.
And never DH Saturday. I wonder about Mondays. |
