I wonder why the purple banana doesn't always dance......weird. I thought it was my file so I found another copy elsewhere....the purple bugger just doesn't wanna dance at JS anymore I guess...

I see you've discovered the multiiquote option....which means you're seeing those buttons now, eh? The far right one enables the quick reply...which is kinda nice, too, when you're making a post w/o planning on any smilies....

lotsa lil things- for example, I have baseball fields beside each forum. If there are new posts since you were last here, the bases are full. If not, the bases are empty. Plus (which haven't worked on the old forums for a long time) you can mark each forum as read.....you can click the 'New Posts' link to just see threads with new posts in them, you can search for all posts by a given member, etc etc

We'll all have to click around and get used to it. For example, I can add things to the profile page (not sure how often people even look at other people's profiles)....like I added a Favorite Team thing there..

Will logging in on the main page log us in on the new forums too at some point? Currently it does not.
