Boy A&M just got screwed royally by the officials. There's no excuse for blowing a call that bad and effectively deciding who wins a game of this importance. Words can describe how messed up that is.......

yes. more than enough time to press at least up to the perimeter before needing to get a shot off instead of getting screwed over and having to rely on a prayer.

well, they had to take SOME time off...maybe 1.1 seconds was too much, but really, even if they had left .5 more back on and only taked off .6...is that enough time to get a better quality shot? TBH, he took the shot to quick and actually had a little bit more time to get a better shot...

maybe too much???? at most .2 seconds had expired and that's being generous to memphis. and yes in basketball it's a world of difference. at least two steps which brings him 8 feet closer to the net. like i said it was nothing more nothing less

Excellent call. They replayed it during the late games. The ball bounced on the court before going out of bounds. Isn't dead till it touches someone out of bounds. They were lucky more wasn't taken off. The announcers apoligized to the refs during the 2nd game admitting they missed the ball hitting in bounds.

If you want bad calls in a close game, how about SIU getting screwed on the Wright dunk after the shot clock showed 0, and then no goaltending when the guy grabbed the rim and the whole thing shook.

YOU are right, the ball was knocked out and bounced pretty high before it landed and that did take alot of time to be OFFICIALLY out of bounds!!

If what you say is true, then yes, no time should have been taken off...but it would have been Memphis' ball anyways. Cause if it didn't touch anyone, then A&M threw it straight out of bounds....
