Erin Andrews...debate
So I'm having a debate with some of my buddies about Erin Andrews as a reporter and as a person.
Personally, I think she's hot, but she's annoying. Any other opinions? |

there's no doubt she's closer to hot than not....but, to me, she's not very bright and a bit annoying as a reporter....tho may be fun as a person

you'd rather she was a rocket scientist?
she just strikes me as the stereotypical dizzy blonde....which ain't bad unless she's trying to interview an athlete and not sound like a ditz

She is a product of the ESPN culture of sports these days.
ESPN has turned sports into "entertainment". Entertainment appeals to both genders and all races...whereas sports, never use to be as broad. Erin Andrews is a perfect example of this. She was hired, like many of the female ESPN reporters, for her appearance. Sure, she can read a teleprompter and maybe cobble together a coherent sentence now and then...but their primary "duty" is to look good while reading some sports related information. I try to watch most events on ESPN with the volume muted if possible. |

She works for ESPN.com ... not necessarily suppose to be an "on air" talent...

on air or not, she's usually a passive aggressive antagonist that attempts to insert race into EVERYthing

I think she'd be all right with the college football studio show if they didnt have a couple of bigger dunces next to her. But thats the thing, she cant carry the show and its definitely not the same without her standing next to a sideline with 50,000 fratbros and dudebros drooling next to her.
