I don't want to see him in another uniform...and I'm betting you don't either. Whether true or not, I 'heard' they offered him 2mil per and he declined...not sure how much he thinks he'd get at this point.

Yes is time is up. Still a great leader but physical problems affecting his play. Agreed the offer needed to be small since he probably wouldn't make 16 games. Need cap money for his backup. Kinda surprised they even made an offer.
Roach gone to so they need help. Don't really care if he plays elsewhere.

Yay! Too old and broken down, at least for the money he wants. Sorry to see Nick Roach leave. He will soon find out that $ doesn't work in the long run when you leave Chicago market.

apparently he would have accepted 3mil, they offered 2mil....but he may also have wanted 2 years, they offered 1
don't get me wrong, I've appreciated his play as much as any non-Bear fan....but it scares me a little that the Vikings looked at him before and I don't want them to do so now...........don't think they will, tho..Frazier has said the Vikings are likely to have a rookie at MLB next season
