Default Valero Texas Open

A change in date for this tourney, as last year it was part of the fall series. Taking place at the par 70 La Cantera Golf Club in San Antonio. If the weather/wind stay away, we could see some good scores here this week. A long running event on the tour, it was originally played way back in 1922, and people like Walter Hagen, Ben Nelson, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead (twice), and Arnold Palmer (3 in a row from 60-61) have won here. LEONJ has 3 victories here himself so he might be one to watch out for, especially with a less than stellar field as alot of the top player seemed to be taking this week off after going through Sawgrass. JOHZA is the defending champion and the winner takes home $1,098,000.
