Thanks Mark.....been sick as a dog with food poisening and haven't looked at much here at all.........but....

had a rough time finding a pic of this year's girls, so far I could only find this goofy one with Alice Cooper

the story about the "girls" is that they were always chosen from local colleges and for a while they would also choose a "queen" which would be some of the hotties you've shown above (Jill St John and Barbara Eden are my favs). The competition to be a "classic girl" is fierce.

Hot stuff eh.....sitting at 14 under and missing the cut? Some things that stick out for me..........

BAIBR - going 63-63 then disappearing

PARJE - shooting 61 for rnd 4 and missing the cut

STRST - breaking the alltime record (lmao-which PERPA had set in rnds 1 & 2) of lowest consecutive 2 rounds.

At least 4 or 5 legitimate chances at 59

More Aces by amateurs than Pros

PERPA - one of the most volatile guys to ever play the PGA tour holding it together and hanging in there. (I personally do not think he'll win...got to give the nod to STRST with a 3 shot lead and a wedge and putter that are BLAZING HOT).

Not one top 15 ranked player is there. (obviously some are not there for injuries...but MANY do not like the format..extra long rounds....too much extra banter....etc etc) I'm impressed with a number of the pros who embrace this format...giving back to the game. The one that has always stood out in my mind for this is FAXBR...a PRINCE of a guy.

The scores are what they are for some very good reasons.

Conditions are PERFECT. The weather is impeccable. The greens are perfect. The fairways are generous. Now while I enjoy watching the best in the world struggle like they do with the Majors conditions...it IS fun to watch them chew up a course like these once in a while. The courses are the way they are so that the guys (celebrities and other amatuers) who pay 12K to get in don't look any worse than they have to.

KIMAN was scheduled to play but is out with a sore shoulder.

This tournament HAS to be good one for average pros. It has to boost their mental outlook of their game and IMO could launch a few into great years.........we shall see.(nice to see WATBU have a couple LOW ones. He's IMO an old school player that can BOMB it. By old school...I mean that he can and does work the ball both ways....not many do that anymore. PAVCO comes to mind.)

enough of my ranting.......should be a great final round....the pros really get down to it now......the amateurs are spectators now.

enjoy

Thank you rich.

I hope you feel better.

It would have never even dawned on me that they have to make the course somewhat easier when the celebrities are playing the course especially when they are paying for the privilege. I just saw the leading score last night which if I am remembering correctly was -32. Then I remembered they started on Wednesday but still.

Also a to the PGA for hosting such a wonderful event and donating tons of money that is raised at this event each year to different charities as well.

Thank you -mmm- for inspiring rich as well.

I even remember Wonder Women.
