sorry for the confusion...thought I deleted all of them. They are diff criteria that earned them entry into the Open....could be the money list...past Open performances...world ranking...etc.

and yer welcome

And no Tiger to worry about.

How are these weather conditions going to play out?

Does any one player have an advantage if they keep having these crappy weather conditions of some very strong winds at times with periods of rain at the same time as well?

Well I guess we are just going to have to wait and see?

SOME guys classify themselves as "mudders"...those that play decently in crappy weather....not sure who they all are but I can tell you.....SO FAR it is fantastic to see some of the names that are on top of this year's (yes only 2 rounds in) leaderboard. It wouldn't bother me one bit if Norman won...IMO the best total driver of the ball that EVER was....but my heart is rooting for DUVDA. Here is a man that was ranked #1 in the world....shot a 59...and was always (like Tiger) an odds on favorite to win any tournament he enetered...in 2000/2001. The very LAST tournament he won was the 2001 British Open. His game just went away, disappeared into oblivion....but....he has been striking the ball very well for some time now...he will-IMHO- win again. I just hope it's sooner than later.

Norman and Harrington are letting a WHOLE BUNCH of players back in this thing.....it's getting VERY interesting. The wind is picking up and the course, if possible, is getting tougher.
