Prayer request
Islandgirl is scheduled for surgery...either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon (not sure). Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Find us on  for updates, including site issues. Also now on Reddit, not that I'm sure what we're doing there yet.Don't piss off old people- the older we get, the less life in prison is a deterrent. I'm pretty confident my last words will be 'well crap, that didn't work'. Of all the things I've lost over the years, I think I miss my metabolism most of all. Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?

Hi guys, thanks for this. I appreciate it very much
 Unfortunately, I was bumped from my surgery yesterday. A car crash, several trauma's and an emergency appendectomy took priority so after spending all day in pre-op reading outdated magazines in one of those lovely backless gowns, they sent me home (I did get two packs of cookies for my inconvenience). While I'm disappointed, I'm thankful that I am not one of those who needed help so badly that they needed to bump others. Silverlining! Not sure when I'll go in next, but I told Rich I'd keep him posted. Thanks again Rich et al. You are all awesome
