Default Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard Field

Why did I get the field with such a long name?

I am sure Rich can tell us what this used to be called.

They are playing in Orlando, FL.

The winner takes home $900,000.

Rod Pampling was the winner last year.

Tiger is in the field! If I was him I would stay home with the mother to be.

I wonder how long it will be before the maternity police say that is exactly what he should be doing?

I would surmise part of the reason Tiger is here is out of respect for Arnold Palmer.

So sorry the names are not in alphabetical order by last name this week but I am a very busy person nowadays. It is all good though. I will try to do better the next time I do the field.

Since this is the first post in the golf section we need a really good picture this week.

This is just going to have to do.

I hope I did somewhat of a good job this week.

Thanks for the info - Tiger IS home as he lives in Orlando, yes? Now, if only pgatour.com worked as smooth as these new boards.....

Your welcome for the info jbrune56.

I keep forgetting that Tiger does indeed live in Orlando. When I always think of where Tiger lives in Florida I always think of Palm Beach or South Beach. Both places have some very gated communities that people can keep their privacy relatively speaking of course.

I wonder if Tiger is going home after each round I would dare say he is? I know I would be.

Maybe Tiger wanted a house close to where Mickey lives?

This tourney used to be the Bay Hill Invitational.

I'm not positive but I thought Tiger sold his place in Orlando and built a new one farther south on the coast.

Oh this used to be the Bay Hill Invitational.

Why cant they just call it the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill?

Oh nevermind Master Card is paying them to have their name in the title of the tournament.

What is the difference besides having the quick buy at the top of the listings?

you dont leave the page. You click in the blank area next to the name, it pops up a window and you confirm all without leaving the market page. no long load times for multiple pages, etc (not that the load times were ever that long to begin with).
