Yankees/Twins game
It's been an entertaining series thus far to say the least.....starting with the Twins turning a triple play in the first inning Monday night, bombing 5 home runs, and still having to hold on for the 8-6 win......but last night's was an all out WAR.
Yankees took an early 2-0 lead, but the Twins fired back scoring the next 8 runs, including a 5 run inning...and 3 more homers. But the Yankees stormed back and took a 10-9 lead, including their own 5 run inning (tho the Twins got seriously ripped on what should have been an inning ending strikeout while still up 2). Sano hits his 2nd homer off Britton to turn it back into an 11-10 Twins lead only to have former Twin Aaron Hicks do the same in the 9th to make it 12-11. The Twins tied it off Chapman in the bottom of the 9th only to have the Yankees score twice in the 10th to go up 14-12......Twins loaded the bases, and with 2 outs Kepler rips it to the gap for what could have been a bases clearing walk off extra base hit..only to have Hicks make a diving catch to end it. Whichever fan you were a fan of, that game was simply entertaining to say the least.
