Default Talk about your flip-flopping

Guess convictions and integrity are fine and dandy as long as they don't interfere with personal agenda. When that happens, at least in Mr. Romney's case, then toss those silly little things out the window, after all why let little things like personal credibility and integrity get in the way of campaign contributions and catering to the extreme?

Politics are a game. If you run on a conservative, GOP platform and you SERVE AS A CONSERVATIVE, GOP reprentative then this thread is pointless. People are allowed to change stances, and although this may seem like he's doing it to gain an advantage, I'll tell you right now that I would never vote for a democrat gone republican.

[begin sarcasim]Now, if he makes it to the Presidental race, I might vote just to ensure a crazy liberal doesn't win [end sarcasim]

A game. Like how BushCo has tried to turn everything from the Middle East to the DOJ into one big game of Risk (and is losing very badly through sheer incompetence of him and everyone around him which is funny since pre-9/11 you'd hear all about how he put such great people around him).

And you are mistaken. Theres nothing conservative about the GOP these days. At least nothing that I was raised to believe where conservative values like forced Christianity everywhere in society, or xenophobia, or warmongering, or fearmongering.

As for your last line I completely agree with you. I didnt vote for Norm Coleman for my Senator last time and Im definitely not voting for him this time, even if it means voting for Al Franken. But in your case Nick, Kansas seems to have a number of Republicans turned Democrats since the extremists in the Kansas GOP have been pushing the moderates away for years.

As for Romney (or Guillani or McCain), its easy to win the Republican nomination despite all the descrapencies of their past. Become a B-rated actor. Republicans love them for some reason even though they say Hollywood is too liberal. Reagan, Sonny Bono, Fred Thompson
