the pitcher would get the win, too

...and I found this for you:
If two goaltenders combine for a shutout, neither receives credit for the shutout. Instead it is recorded as a team shutout.

and, according to usatoday.com where we grab stats, Tim Thomas has the only shutout so far

Thank you. I was just about to look that up. It has been adjusted and will reflect on tonight's update.

Canucks down 0-3? Penguins down 0-3? Two "favorites" could be out really soon. That's gonna tear teams up (especially mine).

Don't count yourself out just yet. Any one player can go on a tear through the playoffs (as usually happens every year).

On the other hand, if the Predators and Flyers both win tonight, I'm completely out of the competition (I'd only have 2 skaters and no goalies).

Just so everyone knows...

Tomorrow night I'm going to go catch the UFC fight at a sports bar so I probably won't have the updates posted until later than usual. I will still get them in tomorrow night. Just thought everyone should know.

Thank you for understanding.

Who is going to keep their team intact?

Stay tuned.
