The Barclays field
This is the first of four events of the Fed Ex Cup playoffs.
Aren't the playoffs at the end of the season usually? I only ask because there are PGA tour events after these next four. I think this confused me last week when I said there were whatever number I said and I don't remember but it was not four it was around seven that was a part of the Fed Ex Cup. Vijah Singh was the winner at this tournament last year. They may need a truck to carry the money they win home. I don't know the exact amount though. I think in the first tournament in the Fed Ex Cup it is around a million dollars and the money keeps getting bigger after each tournament. The winner of the Cup does win $10,000,000 for their retirement fund but it is not counted as part of player's money with regards to the money list. The golfer can not take the money out of the fund until they are 45 I believe. They are playing in Harrison New York which is just north on the mainland of a long island in eastern New York. I will put an explanation of the Fed Ex Cup at the end of the thread but it kind of confused me at first. There is one thing I have to do first though. How the PGA supposed to have a playoff and Tiger is not even playing?
