ESPN College Game Day today

.....is where I lived for 20 years this morning..........Brookings, SD on the campus of South Dakota State University....pretty cool for something like to be not just on an FCS campus, which has only happened about 10 times, but in a town of only 25,000....

Why are they there?
You all know the history of North Dakota State football, winning the FCS championship 7 of the last 8 years (funny how these FCS schools can play 4-5 playoff games but the NCAA thinks it wrong to talk 3 for FBS schools). Well, once again, they're unbeaten thus far.

....but so again is SDSU.....and they're the #1 and #3 ranked schools in the FCS, the game is (obviously) AT SDSU.......it's the annual Dakota Marker game and despite all their success, nearly every year THIS game is NDSU's toughest all year....and 2 of the last 5 have gone to the Jackrabbits.

It's on ESPN+ if you have it and care to watch.

SDSU isn't my alma mater, officially...but I started out there, lived in that town some 25 years altogether, and 3 of 4 brothers call it their alma mater.
