his comment was def in poor taste, no doubt.....and amplified that much more given he's supposed to be the guy whose role will expand due to the Maclin injury

It makes me wonder that if Maclin did not get injured, would Cooper have been cut instead of just fined.

It makes me wonder if guys like Marcus Vick would ever be mentioned in the media if guys like Cooper didn't make regrettable comments while drunk at a concert.

It makes me wonder if all this technology (including some guy at a concert with an iPhone who obviously recognized Riley and was just waiting to see if there would be something worth recording) is worth having.

I've always thought words, no matter what they may be, meant nothing except what the context they were said or written...

Why can blacks have free reign over the entire language, yet, non-blacks can literally say any and every word under the sun except for one without being labeled a racist?

Here's an example of a white professional football player and a black player using these "mean" words in a non-mean way...and no one has (or should have, imo) a problem with either one of them...it's all a matter of context...

Story here.

{Sidenote: I personally think calling someone a mf'er is the meanest name any person could call another...regardless of race...very few people use that term in a "friendly" manner, imo}

Sidenote.......I've called soemone mf'er affectionately MANY times..........as have many I golf/shoot/craft fair/etc with said on occasion as well..........remember, it's all about "context"
