Twins set a HR record...umm, what?
Heard them say it pre-game tonight, haven't actually seen it online...
The Twins aren't exactly known as a power hitting team, again nestled solidly in the lower half in home runs. But, in taking 3 out of 4 from Chicago this weekend, they score 19 runs....and every last one scored via a home run. Pre-game they said 'for the first time in major league history'...not sure if that meant in a full series, specifically a 4 game series, or what.......just so strange for the small ball Twins to do it. And tonight...first Twins hitter, dinger... ...thought this a more positive (well, unless you're a White Sox fan) thing to bring up than bananas in the outfield

Nachos are just tacos that don't have their s_it together. I'm not adding this year to my age because I really didn't use it. Ever notice that extra fries and exercise sound a lot alike?

now 22 straight runs via 13 home runs.....but can't get a 2 out hit to save their lives (obviously none that weren't homers)
sidebar being....never HEARD of Andrew Albers before last week...he throws 8 1/3 innings of shutout baseball (and I was p'd when Gardenhire took him out)...in his 1st major league start. Tonight, 7 more shutout innings on 82 pitches, one hit allowed....and I'm not sure he's hit 90 on the radar gun in either game. Possibly done for the night now as he was looking at his hand like he developed a blister. da beast would like this that much more...kid's from Saskatchewan

I lied...the finger issue didn't keep him out...and he finished a CGSO...2 hits ZERO walks, no runner at all to 2nd base (only 1 his first outing)...to start his major league career with 17 1/3 shutout innings and a 2-0 record.
....and the Twins string of runs only by home runs goes another game You're welcome, Nick...if your Royals hang on tonight, they take over 2nd place!
