Hey,

I Am Legend

***

I am knocking off 2 stars for the ending. This one would have easily been 5 stars if not for the ending. Even the wife thought that the ending sucked. Action, supsense, laughs, tears this movie had all of it.

PS

Yes I know I have big problem with endings. I'm that way.

Grandma's Boy

*****

This movie is a little older, but it is funny as hell. I might call it the funniest movie you have never heard of. Drugs, sex, stupid humor, video games. Funny, Funny, Funny.

National Treasure A really long subtitle I don't remember.

****

This is almost as good as the first one. I have never given a movie ****. I have only reviewed one other movie and it was a ***.

Riley is Riley.

Abigail is always looking good except towards the end.

I told you.

I havent been to the theater in a long long time, but gifted myself a few movies for Christmas....

Live Free Or Die Hard- ****
I was fearing it'd be as bad as the 3rd one, but was very surprised to see it was about as good as the 2nd one (which I also liked, the first one is 5 stars in my book).

Idiocracy- ***
A movie directed by Mike Judge and starring Luke Wilson. Its about an average man who's frozen for 500 years in an army experiment and awakes in a world were people of lesser intelligence (rednecks, pimps, etc) have out-bred smarter people and have taken control of the world, and thus they look to Wilson to save them from the mess they've made as hes by far the smartest person in their world. I had heard lots of good things about this movie and it has its moments (like the trial and the prison break scenes), but something was lacking here. Wilson's performance among the bigger things (but I guess that's not surprising). Definitely not up to par with other Judge movies like Office Space or Beavis And Butthead Do America.

The Simpsons Movie-*****
Spider pig. Spider pig. Does whatever a spider pig does.

saw I am Legend and still not sure what I saw....lol

National Treasures Book of Secrets was IMO as good as the first...what it lacked in some areas it exceeded the first one in other areas, like special effects.

So...

I, too, was VERY pleasantly surprised at how good Live Free and Die Hard was........for me, at least, it was actually the best of the whole lot!

Ya can't go wrong in the stupid humor department with Knocked Up and the Simpsons....................or the REALLY stupid humor of Superbad.

Who's seen Eastern Promises? Or the revamped Blade Runner?

You are probably just a little biased because of where they end up towards the end of the movie.

By the way when do you find the time to watch those movies at an actual theater?

Hey,

Dragon Wars - D-War

*

The trailer did not look bad, but the story line sucked and the movie just dragged on for the most part. My twelve year old thought it was great, if that helps.

We Are Marshall

Not as good as I thought it would be.

Hey,

Have not added any for a while.

There Will Be Blood

***

Just OK. Kinda slow and dragged on for over 2.5 hours. Daniel Day Lewis was great, not as good as he was in Gangs of New York though.

Valley Of Elah

****

Tommy Lee Jones was outstanding as usual.

No County for Old Men

**

WTF did I just watch???

Dan In Real Life

****

A predictable romantic drama/comedy but we thought it was pretty good.

Bee Movie

****

Great movie for the kids.

The Myst

***

I predicted the end. Was disappointed in where the things in the mist came from.

I was disappointed with the whole movie. It was the typical King story that starts out well and just dies. It was a shame to see where they came from, but the mist itself was confusing. There were too many holes in the story. You're better off seeing The Thing, or the original The Fog.

Hey,

I agree with some of that. Have not seen the updated version of The Fog.

I think your quote has great movie for kids with this movie instead of Bee Movie.

Hey,

Iron Man

*****

Great movie. Even the wife liked this one. My son was not as high on this one as some of the other "Super Hero" movies. Not enough action for him.

Untraceable

****

Pretty Good. Maybe working in the technical field made me think more of it than other people. The wife liked it and was yelling at the TV at the end, so that made me think it was pretty good.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

****

Many might vote it down, but it kept me interested the whole time.
