I post my response knowing that most of what I have to say falls on deaf ears (as Troy put it "no 1 likes u") but then again I am not running for Ms. America so what the heck.

I sold off my TV port years ago for reasons I don't even recall (I do know they had nothing to do with Troy) and have regretted it ever since. If you are addicted to the game, as I freely admit I am, simply selling off a port or two will not keep you away long term. At the time, I thought I was getting back at "the system" for something I perceived as a wrong doing. My bad.

I have a simple suggestion for those that find themselves in a similar position. Simply change your password to a random set of numbers that you could not nor would not recall. That way, when you are ready to rejoin the game at a later date, all you need to do is request the admins email you the password. No harm, no foul.

No idea Nick. Its the concept of it though. There are ways of figuring out and assuming what port it is that has sold them off by looking at leaderboards, etc. There are ways.
